Darkest Hour – Films at the Mill

Darkest Hour

Darkest Hour is Gary Oldman’s finest work about one of our country’s finest men.

These films represent a start of something new for Bromham Mill and will help lay the foundation for future (and bigger) film screenings.

We start with Darkest Hour. During World War II, as Adolf Hitler‘s awesomely powerful Wehrmacht rampages across Europe, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Neville Chamberlain, is forced to resign, recommending Winston Churchillas his replacement. But even in his early days as the country’s leader, Churchill is under pressure to commence peace negotiations with the German dictator or to fight head-on the seemingly invincible Nazi regime, whatever the cost. However difficult and dangerous his decision may be, Churchill has no choice but to shine in the country’s darkest hour. Written by Nick Riganas.

Tickets also available direct from Bromham Mill Cafe.

Bedford Film Festival’s 2018 screenings are sponsored by Eagle Brewery, Bedford with our grateful thanks. You can find out bout their wide range of beers and even arrange a tour of their Bedford Brewery via their website.
