It’s here, now you can see for yourself what all the hard work, planning, begging, borrowing, sponsorship, early mornings and late nights have created for the first ever Bedford Film Festival.
Tickets will be available very soon so for now, please search our pages, learn all about our history, the people behind the project and the films, documentaries and workshops being brought to Bedford to celebrate and support variety.
You can read about this year’s festival venues and the businesses who have shown faith in us and supported us in our early days, helping us create an event the whole of Bedford can be proud of.
There are also flyers and posters to download so you too can join in with supporting Bedford Film Festival in its first year, building strong foundations upon which a long lasting annual event can grow.
You’ll find details of our objectives and how we plan to support film provision throughout the town, throughout the year. Film provision in Bedford should not just be limited to festival, societies or cinemas. We want to help encourage community groups, businesses and individuals to also think about hosting films, we’ll help you as best we can.
And of course you can read our programme. Eight feature films, five documentaries, four workshops and a selection of short films. There really is something for everyone and we are sure that you’ll be as pleased with our choices as we are.
With any new website there will be a few tweaks needed as we go along. These we are sure will be minor, so should not effect your experience too much. If however you do notice something you think needs to be corrected, please do get in touch.
