We’ll be kicking off this special evening devoted to Prince’s ‘Purple Reign’ with a special performance from one of the world’s best Prince tribute acts, Prince Revelations (aka Mark Anthony)
Following this, we’ll be screening Purple Rain, a film that could only ever have been made in the eighties shows Prince’s musical talents in full, providing a craking soundtrack to a film that passed many by, but was loved by those who did see it the first time around.
A young musician, tormented by an abusive situation at home, must contend with a rival singer, a burgeoning romance, and his own dissatisfied band, as his star begins to rise.
Further details are yet to be announced but we’ll have a special treat for Prince fans during our opening film too.
