Despite what you might think though, the job is not always glamorous.

Explaining the achievements in her own career, Alison will show attendees how to make the most of their assignments, and how to build good relationships with directors, producers and many others in all industries to help you have the skills to create a steady stream of work.

Alison Kynoch is a professional makeup artist with over 10 years working in the industry.
Her impressive career has seen her work in editorial for Express Group newspapers and Scottish Wedding Magazine, and for individual commissions in various other magazines. She has also worked as a make-up artist for fashion shows, workshops, training, collaborating with photographers and working along side other talented, successful makeup artists in the industry.
Alison later attended Delamar Academy in London where she enhanced her existing skills in hair, casualty, period hair and makeup, wigs, and prosthetics. She has also worked with the BBC on The Happylands and with music videos and short films. Alison also runs her own makeup workshops.
