You’re gonna need a bigger screen – Jaws is coming to Bedford.

Of the five films nominated for Bedford Film Festival’s film ‘election’, Jaws swam into the lead in the last minute and we’re delighted to now bring it to the big screen for Bedfringe.

When a gigantic great white shark begins to menace the small island community of Amity, a police chief, a marine scientist and grizzled fisherman set out to stop it. Directed by Stephen Spielberg and starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss, and with an instantly recognizable and haunting score by John Williams, Jaws is considered by many to be perfect cinema.
