UN International Day of Happiness takes places in March, and offers a fantastic opportunity to recognise the importance of happiness and well being for all of us.
To celebrate, Bedford Film Festival has got together with Happiness Matters to screen ‘Hector and the Search for Happiness’ for the first time in Bedford, on 18th March 2015.
Starring Simon Pegg and Rosamund Pike the film tells the story of Hector (Simon Pegg), a psychiatrist who has become increasingly tired of his dull life and so decides to break out of his routine life, and go on a global quest to find the elusive secret formula for true happiness.
Happiness, is one of those things that we all want but we don’t necessarily know how to go about getting, and we might even find ourselves looking for it in the wrong places.
Ticket includes entry to the screening, pop corn, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
International Day of Happiness was established by the United Nations General Assembly and is celebrated on 20th March.
