Bedford Film Festival is proud to present a children’s film chosen by the people of Bedford. Five films were nominated and Disney’s classic, The Jungle Book, was the firm favourite.
Abandoned after an accident, baby Mowgli is taken and raised by a family of wolves. As the boy grows older, the wise panther Bagheera realizes he must be returned to his own kind in the nearby man-village. Baloo the bear however thinks differently teaching that living in the jungle is the best life there is.
Filled with classic songs, lovable characters, and based on the classic Rudyard Kipling tale, this 1967 musical animation is a perfect film for the whole family. So bring your own ‘man-cubs’ along to learn the bear necessities with Bedford’s chosen family film.
